What is a medical facial and how is it different from a spa facial?
A medical facial is planned and supervised by a doctor and uses clinical-grade steps rather than relaxation alone. At Nest Clinic, Q Facial combines skin analysis, deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, careful extraction of clogged pores and calming care such as LDM ultrasound. It is tailored to concerns like congestion, oiliness or dullness, and can be adjusted for sensitive skin. Most patients see fresher, smoother skin immediately; results vary.

Safety first
Possible side effects
Q Facial is gentle. Temporary pinkness, especially after extraction, is common and usually fades within an hour or two. Uncommon effects include small marks or a brief breakout as pores clear, and irritation in very sensitive skin. Adjusting steps to your skin and calming with LDM help reduce these effects.
If you have active inflamed acne or skin inflammation, we may modify extraction or recommend medical treatment first.

Is Q Facial painful?
Most of it is relaxing. Extraction can feel briefly uncomfortable on congested areas, and we adjust pressure for you.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Light makeup is fine after a few hours; ideally give skin the rest of the day to breathe.
How often should I have it?
For ongoing congestion, every 2–4 weeks works well. As a one-off, it is a good refresh during your stay in Seoul.
Is it suitable for acne-prone skin?
Yes, for mild congestion. For active inflamed or cystic acne, our doctors may suggest medical acne treatment first.
Can I combine it with laser?
Yes. Many patients have Q Facial alongside toning or other lasers; your doctor will plan the order and spacing.
