Hyaluronic acid filler

Restoring soft, healthy fullness to hollow cheeks — our women doctors use hyaluronic acid filler and Sculptra in measured layers so your face looks rested, never overfilled.

Hollow cheeks are most often treated with hyaluronic acid filler for immediate, adjustable volume or Sculptra, which stimulates your own collagen over 2–3 sessions. Filler results are visible straight away and typically last 12–18 months; Sculptra builds gradually and often lasts around two years. At Nest Clinic our doctors place small amounts conservatively. Results vary with age, skin quality and weight changes.
Hollowness below the cheekbones develops when the deep and superficial fat pads of the mid-face shrink. Ageing is the most common cause, but genetics, a slim build, endurance sport, significant weight loss and smoking all contribute. The result can make the face look tired, gaunt or older than you feel.
Hollow cheeks rarely occur alone — they often accompany overall loss of facial volume, deeper smile lines and temple hollowing. Our doctors look at the whole face before deciding how much to restore.
Your doctor combines these options according to how much volume is missing and how quickly you want to see change.

Poly-L-lactic acid gradually stimulates collagen for a soft, natural restoration — ideal for wider areas of hollowness. See Sculptra.
Filler for immediate structure plus Sculptra for longer-term support — a common choice for visitors who return to Seoul periodically.
Rejuran or Skinvive improve thin, dehydrated skin over the hollow so the result looks smooth and healthy.
If laxity accompanies hollowness, Ulthera or radiofrequency lifting can be added so volume is not used to compensate for sagging.
Drag the handle to compare. Small, well-placed volume softens shadows while keeping your natural bone structure.

Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and usually settle within a week. Uncommon risks include lumps, asymmetry, infection and, with Sculptra, small nodules if aftercare massage is skipped.
Vascular occlusion is a rare but serious risk of any filler. We reduce risk with deep, slow placement, cannula techniques where appropriate and hyaluronidase on hand to dissolve hyaluronic acid filler if needed.
